Baseball Players Earn All-District Academic Honors


Five baseball players have earned CSC Academic All-District honors for the 2026 season.

Pitchers Isaac Epp, Hayden Holman and Nick Phillips, along with infielders Evan Davis and Oliver Degenhardt, received the award which recognizes student-athletes who have distinguished themselves both in the classroom and on the field.

Epp capped his career with a 2-4 record and a 4.83 ERA across 12 starts, striking out 51 batters over 59.2 innings. He also earned the program's JD DeRouse Award, given annually to the senior who best exemplifies loyalty, dedication and enthusiasm for Bulldog baseball.

Holman appeared in 17 games and led the team with three saves, posting 27 strikeouts over 24.1 innings of relief work. Phillips made 12 starts and led the staff in both innings pitched and strikeouts, logging 62.2 frames with 52 strikeouts on the season.

Davis hit a .345 batting average, with three home runs and 32 RBI. His .407 on-base percentage ranked among the best on the team, and he was a key run producer throughout the year.

Degenhardt finished the season with a .326 batting average, 56 hits, 24 RBI and finished second in stolen bases for the Bulldogs, swiping 26 bases on 29 attempts.
