Traube Named Swimmer of the Week on Women’s Side

Senior Emily Traube was voted the Great Lakes Valley Conference PNC Women’s Swimming & Diving Athlete of the Week. Traube won both the 50 and 100 freestyle events and was a first-place 400 medley relay team member in the Bulldogs home dual win over William Jewell, Jan. 11.
 
Traube swam 23.39 in the 50 and 50.82 in the 100 to take top honors in those events while swimming a relay split time of 50.12 in the anchor leg of the 400 medley.
 
She has established NCAA B-cut times in both the 50 and 100 freestyle swims, with times of 23.15 in the 50 and 50.11 in the 100. In addition, she achieved a B-time in the 200 free (1:49.63), all of which occurred during the Phoenix Fall Classic in November.
