  • Alumna and Movie and TV Writer/Producer to Participate in Virtual Event

    Television and movie writer Akela Cooper will share her experiences in the film industry through a virtual event at 7 p.m. Oct. 13 via Zoom. Raised in Hayti, Missouri, Cooper graduated from Truman in 2003. Since then, she has written and produced several movies and television shows including the current Warner Bros. release, “Malignant.”
