Middle school students interested in science and careers in the health care field can get hands-on experience during M*A*S*H* Camp July 7-9.
Eight faculty members were recently awarded the Faculty Summer Research Fellowship for Summer 2009.
Debra Kerby, professor of accounting, received the 2009 Outstanding Educator Award from the Missouri Society of Certified Public Accountants (MSCPA) during that organization’s annual convention in June.
Huping Ling, professor of history, recently presented a copy of the Journal of Asian American Studies to the University. Ling was named executive editor of the JAAS in April 2008, and donated a copy of the June 2009 issue, the first under her leadership.
The speech and debate team will now be under the leadership of communication faculty members Kristi Scholten and Russell Luce.
The Gates Millennium organization is accepting summer applications until June 19. GMS summer term funding is only available for scholars who will complete their degree program with a degree conferred at the end of the summer term or for graduate scholars who are taking courses during the summer required by their degree program.
