A full schedule of events are planned for this weekend as part of Truman’s annual Family Day.
An informational meeting about the Missouri Government Internship Program will take place at 5:30 p.m. Sept. 24 in the Student Union Building Georgian Room C. Pizza will be provided.
The political music revue, Capitol Steps, will be performing in Baldwin Auditorium at 7:30 p.m. Sept. 22 as the first in the series of Kohlenberg Lyceum events to take place this year.
Truman’s new Provost and Vice President of Academic Affairs, Troy Paino, will present “The Importance of Scholarship & Creativity at a Liberal Arts College” at the first Faculty Forum of the year at 7 p.m. Sept. 18 in Violette Hall 1000.
Truman students will have the opportunity to hear from a representative from the Peace Corps during a video conference at 6 p.m. Sept. 25 at the Career Center.
After the third Week of Truman’s United Way campaign, our faculty, staff, students and retirees have contributed more than $34,000, which means we have reached 62 percent of our goal.
The new nickname for the Student Union Building lounge is “The Hub.”
The Truman Theatre Department’s production of “A Shadow in the Dark” will run from Oct. 1-4 in the James G. Severn’s Theatre in Ophelia Parrish.
Rite Care Early Literacy Lab recently received a $1,500 donation from the members of the Scottish Rite.
