The Truman State University Board of Governors met in Kirksville, April 5, at its regular April meeting.
Six members of the Truman Forensic Union brought home several awards from the 2008 National Parliamentary Debate Association (NPDA) Championship Tournament, held March 27-30, at the United States Air Force Academy, in Colorado Springs, Colo.
The Academic Honor Awards took place March 31 in the Student Union Building Georgian Room.
Truman’s Department of Theatre will present Marie Jones’ award-winning play, “Stones in His Pockets.”
In addition to voting on Student Government leaders, students will have the opportunity to vote on an increase to the Student Activities Fee during the Student Senate election April 15 and 16.
Forty-four students will be representing Truman at the 2008 National Conference on Undergraduate Research (NCUR®).
Three scholarship opportunities are available.
