First Friday Reception

The Gallery features one or more artists by exhibiting their work in a large window display. In addition, a public reception to meet Gallery artists and mingle with other art lovers takes place in late afternoon on the first Friday of the month.

Dancing Rabbit Open House

Dancing Rabbit Ecovillage, a communal village, is committed to demonstrating ecological sustainability. This includes renewable energy, no petroleum, all buildings are renewable and/or sustainable, all gardening and agriculture is organic, composting of waste materials. Lunch, snacks and supper is available for purchase at the Milkweed Mercantile. Tours begin every half hour between 1-3 p.m.

Businesses, churches and organizations will have tables set up on the courthouse lawn offering coupons, product samples and more. There will be free food for students presenting a Truman ID. For more information, call 660.665.3766.

Red Barn Arts & Crafts Festival

The 45th annual Red Barn Arts and Crafts Festival is a juried event featuring regional artisans displaying and selling pottery, jewelry, painting, metals works, sewing and crafts. Also featuring music, dancing and food vendors.
