Elijah Farrales was selected to the Google Cloud Academic All-District team by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA). He was one of 11 members on the All-District team that encompasses Division II track and field athletes from the Great Lakes Valley, Great Lakes Intercollegiate and Great Midwest conferences. He was the GLVC Indoor 400-meter champion, silver medalist in the 400 at the outdoor meet and ran the anchor leg of the Bulldogs 4x400 meter relay team that won their first conference championship since 1979 earlier in May.

Christa Reisinger was named the Google Cloud Academic All-America Team Member of the Year for Division II Softball. The award is given to the nation’s top student-athlete for her combined performances on the field and in the classroom. Reisinger represents Truman’s 117th Academic All-American since the program’s birth in 1952, and among Division II schools, that mark is second overall. With a first-team Academic All-American nod, Reisinger makes it a clean sweep in 2019 as she was also named a first-team All-American by both the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) and Division II Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA). All in all, the Winfield, Mo., native has now been named an All-American nine times by three different organizations including five first-team choices, three spots on the second team and one third-team pick. All Google Cloud Academic All-American selections are made by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).
